We are a group of like-minded businesses who believe that working together is the best way to succeed, particularly in the current economic climate. The founders of the club, Adam Simmons & Stevie Mitchell, previously lived on the Spanish mainland and belonged to the Marina Alta Business Club for several years (and are still active members). They were looking for a similar organisation when they moved to Lanzarote but, unfortunately, there was no similar group that offered regular B2B Networking meetings and so they decided to form LABC with help from local businesswoman and bar owner, Sharron Hodgkinson.
At our meetings, we share our experiences, talk over problems that we are facing and share knowledge. Often, when we discuss our challenges, members are quick to show willing and help each other. We have some case studies where this has proved to be beneficial for the members.
Just because you may be a sole-trader or self-employed doesn’t mean that you are on your own. Take a look at our ‘Members‘ page and see the people who have joined already and are making new friends and finding ways to extend their reach.
As we operate a non-profit model, we’re not looking to charge monthly fees but all we ask is for a donation of 20€ per annum per business member to cover the costs of web development and marketing activities on behalf of the club.
